Second part of the discussion focused on some of the core challenges in all businesses – focusing on understanding the customer challenges/ opportunities, explaining the benefits of the technology or solution being offered. And TT’s last point – vendors may be either technology or solution focused – but don’t waste time selling technologies to those looking for solutions.
First pat of the discussion re RDF left it all hanging a bit. RDF seems an excellent framework, but in trying to be all things to all people is undermining its ability to be absorbed/ adopted. However my take was that there is not a lot wring with it – need better education, better tools, better case studies.
